4 Diamond - a property offering superior levels of style and comfort in all living areas, from the bedrooms and suites to the dining-room and lounge or bar area.
5 Diamond - our top of the range Chalet Hotel, with outstanding, stylish comfort and excellent leisure facilities available.
- attached to any of the above Esprit ratings, our ‘Plus’ grading signals a little something extra special within that level. This may relate to particular facilities or sensational views for example, or to a particularly convenient location for skiing families.
With no official rating system for Chalet Hotels in existence, our diamond rating is based on senior management inspections, coupled where available with guest feedback over the years. Although it can not be compared with any other system, such as ‘normal’ hotel star ratings, we hope you find it useful in making your selection purely amongst our own range of Chalet Hotels.
Esprit Chalet Hotel Style
Our Chalet Hotels aim to bridge the gap between traditional chalet holidays and the world of standard, locally run hotels. Being entirely run by Esprit, they offer a similarly relaxed atmosphere as a chalet holiday, with the friendly and welcoming convenience of our entirely English-speaking staff, but at the same time have generally bigger and better facilities.
All suites and bedrooms for example always have private en suite facilities, there will be a larger dining-room, more public areas such as a proper bar and lounge, and some have ‘wellness’ facilities too, to help you relax completely. Our catering services are also ‘a cut above’ the traditional chalet, with qualified chefs in the kitchen to offer our ‘Culinary Choice’ menu choices and an extended breakfast buffet each day.
Another advantage for many guests is that dinner can be as sociable or as private as each couple wishes, with our staff normally able to be flexible in laying out larger tables for groups of friends, whether old or new, or private tables for more intimate dining ‘à deux’ if preferred.
All the resort child care is also extremely convenient in every case, being generally based ‘in-house’ or in very nearby locations, which ensures the minimum of fuss and hassle for parents and a real ‘home from home’ feel for the children.
