Location
Chalet Amelia is on the first floor of the Ourson building, and is one of three chalet apartments each of which has its own host. The chalet is in a highly desirable location, being ski in/ski out, only 50 metres from the nearest lift, and close to the resort centre.
Childcare and proximity to meeting places
The Ourson Residence with Chalet Amelia is just next to our Ferme d'Elisa chalets (home to our Snow Club) so its position could hardly be more convenient.
Children booked into Esprit children’s ski lessons will be collected by our Esprit Rangers from the chalet and meet the other children at the Ferme d'Elisa for the 150 metre walk to the ski school meeting place and the ski instructors. Children booked into Supervised Lunch (included with Snow Club, Xtra lessons and Mountain Academy) eat at a restaurant at the foot of the pistes or in the Snow Club room.
Children return to the chalet late afternoon for High Tea.
There is Baby Listening / Child Patrol Service in the chalet on staff night off and additional evening Baby Sitting services can be booked locally if required.
Board basis
Your catered chalet board includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals complete with a selection of wines, cheese and coffee or tea. On staff day off, just a continental breakfast is provided.
Rooms
There are three self-contained suites in the chalet offering superb family accommodation, each with their own bathroom facilities. The views over the Tarentaise valley from the large sun terrace off the lounge and dining room are fabulous and the interior style is a tasteful blend of Alpine character and modern touches.
Facilities
The open plan lounge and dining room is bright and spacious thanks to large picture windows leading out to the large sun terrace. There is also a fireplace and TV in the lounge.
The bathrooms were all renovated for last winter with new walk in showers, new tiles and marble style basins.

All showers are new walk-in showers and all suites will take a cot.
Chalet Cuisine
Includes a skiers' buffet breakfast to start your day, afternoon tea to welcome you 'home', and evening meals with a starter, main and dessert, plus wine and coffee to complete the evening.
We set high standards for our cuisine, and train our staff extensively before the season starts, to ensure that Esprit guests will enjoy every meal with us.
