Ski Accommodation Catering

We’ve selected a wide range of accommodation for you to choose from, all of which offer their own catering options to suit every family. Hotels with half board, catered chalets and even self-catering apartments that have the facilities for you to prepare your own meals or sample some local restaurants.

Catering services are offered for either 6 or 7 nights with options of family dining, early evening meals or high tea for your children. It is 6 nights in the properties that we operate and we set high standards for all meals created by us. Our staff attend extensive training before the season starts to ensure you'll enjoy every meal.

Our staff day off occurs once a week, usually midweek, meaning if you are staying in catered accommodation on this day you will receive a limited breakfast and have the opportunity to explore to a local restaurant for your evening meal.

Breakfast

In all of our catered accommodation, a hot and cold breakfast is served buffet-style. A choice of cereals or porridge, cold meats, cheese and preserves, bread and croissants, fruit juices, tea and coffee and cooked options such as bacon, sausage, eggs and beans are all included. In our chalets and exclusive hotels^✝, a continental style breakfast is left out for you on our staff day off.

Afternoon Tea

In all our chalets and exclusive hotels^✝, afternoon tea is served everyday apart from our staff day off. Tea and coffee making facilities and home-baked cakes are laid out for you when you return from the slopes.

High Tea

We offer a High Tea for all children aged under 11 in chalets and under 7 in hotels exclusive to Esprit^✝, all served between 5pm and 6pm. This includes a 2 course healthy menu, tailored more towards children's tastes. Puréed food is also available for infants. Parents are asked to accompany any children under 3 years old, whilst the older kids are supervised by our childcare team.

Adult Evening Meals

Adult evening meals are served from 7:30pm and comprises of at least 3 courses, depending on the accommodation you're staying in. For more information on the details of the evening meal, please read below. 

When staying in one of our chalets or exclusive hotels, you will get the chance to venture out to a restaurant and experience some delicious local food on a staff day off. 

Our chalets are going greener so our mountains don't: 

• This season (2023/24), our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, with both meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint. 
• Where possible, we will use local suppliers for our wines, cheeses, meats and baked goods.
• We’re minimising our waste, by using refillable containers and recyclable packaging where possible.
• We’re analysing our cleaning products to make sure we’re not contributing to water pollution, whilst always maintaining excellent hygiene.

Local hotel catering

When staying in one of our local hotels, Village Montana or Les Suites de Montana, you'll enjoy 7 nights of catering with breakfast and dinner for the adults at 7.30pm. 

The adult evening meal includes a menu of a 5 or 7 course dinner with waiter service, dependent on the hotel you choose to stay in.

Apartments catering

All of our apartments are self catering, with a fully equipped kitchen. This gives you and your family the option to dine out locally in one of the resort restaurants or enjoy some delicious local foods in the comfort of your apartment. 

If you are staying in Val d'Isere at Chalet Skadi or Chalet Izia apartments or in Tignes at Le Taos or Village Montana apartments, you can arrange for Huski to deliver their home made pre-prepared dishes to your door throughout your stay. There is a full package or dinner only option for 3, 5 or 6 days. The full package includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner (with wine for adults). 

Christmas & New Year's celebrations

All of our chalets and exclusive hotels^✝ offer a traditional Christmas dinner for the family to share together, on Christmas Day. You can look forward to turkey and all the trimmings, mince pies, champagne a lots of festive fun for all the family. If you choose to stay in a locally run hotel, a similar festive meal will be served on Christmas Eve. 

On New Year's Eve a special festive menu followed by a glass of Champagne is served at the adults evening meal. Your children's High Tea is served as usual for your children, unless you are staying in a family dining chalet or your children are taking adult dining in one of our exclusive hotels^✝.

Our wine selection

We offer a variety of five wines to accompany your evening meal when you stay at our chalets and exclusive hotels. These include two selected reds and two contrasting whites, plus a light, refreshing rosé in all our properties.

^*Our baby listening and child patrol services are only offered in selected chalets as follows: on the staff night off in all chalets, and every evening in Chalet Corniche in Tignes and Chalet Romeo in La Rosière.

^✝We have 3 exclusive hotels - these are ones which are only available to Esprit Ski guests and our sister brand, Inghams. Two of those hotels are located in Val-d'Isère, France - the Hotel Ducs de Savoie and the Hotel Le Savoie. Our third, the Hotel De Champoluc, is located in Champoluc, Italy and is not run by Esprit staff, but by the owner and his team who we work with very closely.
