We know that travelling with kids can be stressful, so we have hand-picked a wide range of accommodation to suit every family and make your ski holiday as relaxed and stress free as possible. Cosy Alpine style chalets, stylish self catering apartments, or our exclusive to Esprit or locally run hotels, we've got you covered.
We find as many room layouts as possible so you can choose what works best for your family. There’s a selection of interconnecting rooms, suites, twins, triples and quads. Some also have leisure facilities such as a sauna or whirlpool for parents, and even have a swimming pool.
We appreciate that proximity to childcare and the slopes are important factors for a family ski holiday. This is why our hand-picked accommodations are either located on-piste and have childcare in-house or is a very short and convenient walk away.
Our different accommodation types
Chalets
The chalets we have chosen are designed for families, you can have your own chalet or share with others, plus you’ll have your very own chalet host who’ll keep the place clean and make sure all kids and adults are happy and comfortable.
Dedicated to providing a comfortable atmosphere accompanied by good food and a friendly service, we have a selection of properties from small chalets for single family use to larger hotels with extensive leisure facilities, and all with Esprit childcare either in-house or close by.
Our chalets have a laid-back atmosphere where you can do your own thing, but you can also look forward to little luxuries like log fires, saunas and hot tubs – some of our chalets even have all three.
Catering is provided for 6 days of the week in our chalets, including breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner each day. On your chalet host’s day off, they’ll leave out a simple breakfast for you, and that evening is your chance to try one of the local restaurants!
Our chalets are going greener so our mountains don't
- This season (2022/23), our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, with both meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Where possible, we will use local suppliers for our wines, cheeses, meats and baked goods.
- We’re minimising our waste, by using refillable containers and recyclable packaging where possible.
- We’re analysing our cleaning products to make sure we’re not contributing to water pollution, whilst always maintaining excellent hygiene.
Hotels
We have two types of hotels, all of which have been hand selected because of their suitability to families; exclusive hotels which are shared by guests from Esprit Ski and our sister brand Inghams , which are managed and run by us and locally run hotels, that are managed by local teams.
Exclusive Hotels
We have three exclusive hotels across our resorts. These hotels aim to bridge that gap between a traditional chalet holiday and locally run hotels. They offer a relaxed atmosphere and the privacy of a chalet combined with expanded facilities, welcoming English-speaking staff and tranquil communal areas including a residents' bar.
Two of our hotels are located in Val-d'Isère, France - the Hotel Ducs de Savoie and the Hotel Le Savoie. Our third, the Hotel De Champoluc, is located in Champoluc, Italy and is not run by Esprit staff, but by the owner and his team who we work with very closely.
Locally run hotels
We’ve teamed up with some of our partners in France to give you a greater choice of accommodation types. They offer great facilities and comfort to our Esprit guests. Our very own Esprit childcare is still available whilst staying in these hotels.
Apartments
Self-catering apartments really give your family the flexibility to do what you like. All apartments feature well equipped kitchens so you can cook your own meals or you can pre-book a food delivery service, please call for more information.
