Val d’Isere Snow Report, 31 Jan 2012
Another 10cm of snow fell on Val d’Isère yesterday providing some fresh powder and the brilliant snow conditions continue this week, with cold temperatures keeping snow fresh and further snow fall adding another layer of powder. Over in the Fornet the pistes remain relatively calm despite the fantastic snow conditions, which delighted the guests who joined us on our ski hosting programme yesterday.
For thrill seeking skiers, Face has a good coverage of snow, so now is the perfect time to attempt this famous run.
Over in Tignes, the Grand Motte offers amazing ski conditions with soft snow, particularly on the glorious run ‘double M’, a firm favourite on our ski hosting route. The pistes are well covered all the way down to Tignes les Brevieres, so skiing down to this charming little village is well worth the trip.
The next 3 days will see temperatures plunge, keeping the snow fresh with some sunshine.
BMW is offering test drives all week in their newest vehicles.
