St Anton isn’t said to be one of the top ten ski resorts in the world for nothing

1. Tobogganing

Keep that adrenaline pumping by whizzing down an exciting 4km run from the top of Gampen. The course takes about 15mins to complete & has a vertical elevation of 1670ft (500m). Use of the run is free and you can hire your own toboggans if required.

2. Meal on the mountain

Ever wanted to feel the thrill of sitting in one of the monstrous trucks that groom our lovely pistes to perfection? The Meal on the Mountain Night is an amazing opportunity to experience this for real. Catch a lift both up and down the piste in one of the very piste bashers you see combing the slopes every night. You get dropped off at the lovely Biffangalm restaurant, a classic Austrian restaurant with plenty of lively atmosphere and character. Delicious all you can eat Cheese Fondue, cook your own meats on hot stone, potato wedges/chips, salads, dips. Perfect for families and groups, large or small. A great evening, for everyone, not to be missed!

4. The snow must go on

Weekly Ski show, not to be missed for a bit of lively evening entertainment. Professional skiers from the Austrian Ski School show off their moves in a variety of performances, including a huge kicker that sees the participants completing flips, 360’s and everything in between. Watch them speed down a black run performing a range of tricks with flares and lights to an awesome sound track and some amazing 3D effects. Runs every Wednesday 8.30pm to 9.30pm. (Free entry)

4. Iceskating/Curling

Help to create that famous winter feeling by going for a night time ice skate at the ice rink in the famous St Anton wellness centre. A great family bonding activity. Ice skates can be hired from the Wellness centre, and Curling is also available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. St Anton’s wellness centre also plays host to both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym, spa facilities and much more.

Climbing wall

Another one for those adrenaline junkies. A fantastic climbing area of almost 1000 square meters of indoor  and outdoor climbing wall.  60 boulders at 6 different levels of difficulty located over an indoor surface area of 130 square meters for climbing at jumping height.  Outside features an abseil route, the spectacular Arlrock climbing route featuring 250 square meters of climbing surface, and “The Dot Above The “I” – a climbing wall which is iced over during the winter for ice climbing!
