Key information

Travelling with infants can be stressful, so we've made it our job to make it as easy as possible for you with our Infant Childcare, allowing the whole family to enjoy their winter holiday.

We have two infant childcare options for you to choose from, which are all led by our English-speaking nannies, that all hold the appropriate combination of experience and qualifications. They have a passion for working with children and are dedicated to settling your little ones, to ensure they have a holiday to remember. All our Infant Childcare is exclusively for Esprit children aged 17 weeks to 3 years 4 months.

Low ratios

Whatever your Infant Childcare preference is, we have strict ratios of nannies to children, to keep your kids in the safest environment and with safe supervision:

• For infants 17 weeks – 23 months a 1:3 ratio applies
• For toddlers 2 years - 3 years 4 months a 1:4 ratio applies

Val d’Isere Infant Care Service

Our Val d’Isere infant care service provides childcare within the comfort of the Hotel Ducs De Savoie.

This allows us to offer a more personal service for your children and they can relax, eat and sleep within familiar surroundings.

Operating 6 days a week from 8.30am to 5pm, parents will drop their kids off at the playroom with their nanny, who will look after them for the day and arrange a time to collect their child at the end of the day.

Throughout the day, activities with a focus on fresh air outings and snow play with other Esprit infants, can be personalised for them.

A couple of weeks before your trip, we will contact you to discuss what your tailored activity plan will look like for your children, so when you arrive everything is set up and ready for you.

On selected weeks this service is available to guests staying in the Hotel Le Savoie too.

Esprit Private Nanny Service

Our Esprit private nanny service can be completely tailored to your family’s plans throughout your ski holiday, offering you more flexibility to our In-Chalet Nanny Service. Your private nanny will be available for you up to 8.5 hours per day, between the hours of 8am and 11pm. If you’re wanting to get onto the slopes early, our nanny can be with you by 8am, or if you wanting a chilled start to the day with your children, they can be at your accommodation by 10am. During the day, activities will focus on fresh air outings and your nanny can take your children to meet with other Esprit infants, or they can stay with just their private nanny. Our aim is to offer you as much flexibility as we can, so you can mix and match your days to your family’s needs.

A week before your trip, we will contact you to discuss when you would like your Esprit private nanny throughout your holiday and what your tailored activity plan will look like for your child. Once in resort, you’ll be able to relax knowing everything is set up and ready for you.

Our nannies will arrive at 8.30am at your accommodation and help get them ready to head outside for some fresh air outings and snow play. At 10am it's snack time, if you're child needs to sleep they'll be able to in a cot or their buggy, for those that don't, they can enjoy a rest before lunch with story time or doing some art and crafts.

  2. Esprit Supervised Lunch

    Lunch

Lunch will be prepared by our nannies and we offer homemade purees varying in consistency, while older children will enjoy a two-course hot meal.

  3. Esprit Ski child care activities

    Afternoon

Children who need an afternoon nap can settle for sleep at 1pm, whilst older children enjoy some free time and sensory play. After nap time at around 3pm, the children will head outside for some snow play. As the day draws to end at 5pm, our nannies will leave the children with their parents, at a time arranged earlier in the morning. They can find out what activities they've been up to by reading their daily diary.

  4. Baby Listening

    Evening

Children can enjoy high tea between 5pm and 6pm, which includes homemade purees varying in consistency or a two-course hot meal. From 7:30pm you can leave your children sleeping in the room, while our staff on child patrol will keep them safe, letting you know if they are upset or need resettling at any point.
