La Rosière - sunny and snow-sure family ski resort

High above the Tarentaise, it’s the sunny position, great skiing and incredible views that make family skiing holidays to La Rosière such a joy. With our impressive selection of family chalets and childcare in La Rosière, close to the nursery slopes and opposite the main lift system, the choice is yours. The children’s ski classes meet outside the Grandes Alpes chalets, from where their instructors lead them to the appropriate slopes. Parents need only cross the adjacent car park to reach the lifts and be skiing.

The resort dominates the Tarentaise Valley, and one sweep of the eye takes in the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, Les Arcs and La Plagne. La Rosière is one of the best family ski resorts in France and one of friendliest of the Tarentaise resorts. Here there’s a real feeling that the visitor comes first, and the resort’s family orientation is highlighted by their motto: ‘The Resort Where Children Are Royalty’.
