Location
Chalet Begonia occupies the second floor of the Ferme d'Elisa building where Esprit runs four chalet apartments and is also the base for one of our resort Snow Club. If you're looking for all round convenience in terms of ski access and the proximity to our childcare, as well as family-friendly accommodation, the Begonia is a perfect choice for you. You can ski back to the residence and it is just 150 metres to the nearest lift.
Childcare and proximity to meeting places
The Ferme d'Elisa residence holds the Infant Care playroom and Snow Club room, as well as the four chalets. Is the heart of our Esprit childcare in La Rosière.
Children booked into Esprit children’s ski lessons will be collected by our Esprit Rangers from the chalet and meet the other children for the 150 metre walk to the ski school meeting place and the ski instructors. Children booked into Supervised Lunch (included with Snow Club, Xtra lessons and Mountain Academy) eat at a restaurant at the foot of the pistes or in the Snow Club room.
Children return to the chalet late afternoon for High Tea.
There is Baby Listening / Child Patrol Service in the chalet on staff night off and additional evening Baby Sitting services can be booked locally if required.
Board basis
Your catered chalet board includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals complete with a selection of wines, cheese and coffee or tea. On staff day off, just a continental breakfast is provided.
Rooms
There is a comfortable open plan dining and lounge area, complete with a large stone fireplace, beamed ceiling and large picture windows leading to the balcony, with fabulous views over the Tarentaise valley. The three family rooms have two separate sleeping areas, as well as their own en suite or private facilities. In addition there is a separate twin room between two of the suites, so it's perfect for larger family groups booking both for six.
Facilities
Additional facilities within the building are shared with guests in the other three chalets with a children's snug on the upper floor, accessed via the central stairway. This room is unsupervised so please keep an eye on your children and remember to bring your family's favourite DVDs. The ski and boot room and a sauna are on the ground floor adjacent to our Snow Club base.

Suites 1 & 2 and Room 3 will take a cot, and Room 4 will take up to two cots.
Chalet Cuisine
Includes a skiers' buffet breakfast to start your day, afternoon tea to welcome you 'home', and evening meals with a starter, main and dessert, plus wine and coffee to complete the evening.
We set high standards for our cuisine, and train our staff extensively before the season starts, to ensure that Esprit guests will enjoy every meal with us.
Our chalets are going greener, so our mountains don't.
This season (2022/23) our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, both with meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint.
