Chalet Camelia – (Ferme d’Elisa Chalets)

Location

Chalet Camelia is on the third floor of the Ferme d'Elisa building where we have four chalet apartments, each with their own chalet host. You can ski back to the residence and it is just 150 metres to the nearest lift. Being on one of the upper floors the views of the stunning Tarentaise valley are also part of the appeal.

Childcare and proximity to meeting places

The Ferme d'Elisa residence is the main centre for our Esprit childcare in La Rosière as it holds the Infant Care playroom and Snow Club room as well as the four chalets.

Children booked into Esprit children’s ski lessons will be collected by our Esprit Rangers from the chalet and meet the other children for the 150 metre walk to the ski school meeting place and the ski instructors. Children booked into Supervised Lunch (included with Snow Club, Xtra lessons and Mountain Academy) eat at a restaurant at the foot of the pistes or in the Snow Club. 

Children return to the chalet late afternoon for High Tea.

There is Baby Listening / Child Patrol Service in the chalet on staff night off and additional evening Baby Sitting services can be booked locally if required.

Board basis

Your catered chalet board includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals complete with a selection of wines, cheese and coffee or tea. On staff day off, just a continental breakfast is provided.

Rooms

The interior style is influenced by classical Alpine design mixed with more modern comforts, and a feature fireplace with exposed stone and large chimney is the focal point in the lounge. Large French doors add brightness to the space and open onto the generous balcony with those fabulous views. There is a choice of three suites and rooms all with two separate sleeping areas and a room for two. All will take a cot and have TV with Englih speaking channels.

Facilities

There's a shared children's snug on the fourth floor of the Ferme d'Elisa, accessed from the central stairway and is unsupervised so please keep an eye on your children and remember to bring their favourite DVDs! The residence has a ski and boot room and sauna which is shared with Esprit families staying in our four Ferme d'Elisa chalets.

Guests return year after year due to the comfortable family suites and rooms, central location, and in-house childcare. , as well as the fact that you can ski back to the chalet.
