We have two infant childcare options, our In-Chalet Nanny Service and our Private Nanny Service, which are all led by English-speaking, childcare staff who have a passion for working with children.
Tignes - stunning access to Espace Killy area
The ‘Tignes-Val d’Isere’ ski area, combining Tignes and neighbouring Val d’Isère, ranks highly in any keen skier’s top ten world resorts, and deservedly so. Completely snow sure, with over 300km of piste, plus easily the same again in off-piste terrain, the area offers well over a mile of vertical drop - from the guaranteed snow at the peak of the Grande Motte Glacier down to the picturesque old village of Tignes-les-Brevières.
Our accommodation, childcare facilities and children’s ski area are all conveniently close to one another, and with runs back to Le Lac from both sides of the valley for skiing parents, this is an easy resort for the day to day logistics of a family ski holiday. Furthermore, our partner ski-school has an excellent reputation for caring for English youngsters.

Ski Essentials
We recommend pre-booking all lift passes, skis and boots and any tuition. Book tuition early to secure your ski school place, especially in high season. Our partner ski hire shops are all conveniently located and all pre-booked lift passes are ready for you when you arrive.
Child ski hire offer
Don't forget our child ski hire offer with one free child skis and boots for every adult pre-booking Red or Black category skis/snowboard and boots (available if booked 6 weeks before departure). Child helmets are also included free of charge.
Lift pass offers
We have a Buy One get One Half Price offer on all pre-booked 6 day lift passes but dates are yet to be announced for winter 2023/24.
Lift passes are free for all children under 8 years old and 6 day lift passes include a bonus day so you can ski on your arrival day depending on your flight time.

Times AM: 9.30am-noon on Sundays and 9am-noon Monday to Friday.

Ski lesson prices are split by season departure dates. L (low) is all January and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd March departures; M (mid) is 16th, 30th Dec, 3rd, 25th Feb, 31st Mar and 6th, 13th Apr; H (high) is 23rd Dec and 10th, 17th Feb.
Levels of tuition:
- Beginner = never skied before
- Level 1 = advanced beginner; can control speed, snowplough and change direction on gentle slopes
- Level 2 = low intermediate, snowplough turns and start to ski parallel
- Level 3 = Good intermediate, Parallel turns
- Advanced = Fully confident on all slopes, looking to improve technique
