St Anton - high altitude skiing in a top ski resort

Fully deserving its position in the ‘top ten’ of world ski resorts, St Anton has retained all its traditional Austrian charm, and its part-pedestrianised centre makes and attractive and atmospheric heart to the resort.

Dedicated children’s areas in Nasserein (where Chalet Hotel Pepi Gabl is located) and up at Gampen, combined with excellent instructors, make this resort a superb choice for families.

The ski area is extensive with glorious ski runs and unpisted ‘ski routes’. There are some lovely slopes in Stuben and afternoons spend on Rendl are just a pleasure.

The biggest ski area in Austria will appeal to all keen skiing parents, especially with the Flexenbahn and Trittkopfbahn Gondolas linking St Anton to Lech and Zürs, all covered by one lift pass. The Warth and Schröchen area and its 66km of piste can all be reached by the Auenfeldjet Gondola, increasing the Arlberg ski area to a whopping 305km of piste and 200km of unpisted trails.

Our Chalet Hotel Pepi Gabl is perfectly situated in the quieter Nasserein area of St Anton, being next door to the high speed 8-person gondola up to Gampen, and there’s a regular ski shuttle bus for the short ride in to the resort centre.
