Location

These lovely apartments are well located in this premium ski resort. There are shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk from the residence and a supermarket just opposite, along with the ski hire shop. The Solaise and Bellvarde lifts are approximately 5 minutes' walk (500m) away. This gives you the chance to self-cater in a really central location in Val d'Isère.

Childcare and proximity to meeting places

It's a 10 minutes' walk (750m) to the Esprit childcare at the Ducs de Savoie, but there is a ski bus stop just outside with buses stopping just a minute away from the 'Ducs'. The Esprit childcare staff collect the children from the entrance and then it's usually just 3 minutes' by bus to the meeting place for the ski instructor.

Board basis

The apartments are on a self-catering basis and each one has extensive kitchen facilities and there is a supermarket just opposite. You can also pre-book the Huski Meal Delivery Service, where either dinner only or the full package (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner) can be arranged and you just heat everything through in your apartment. A half board option is also available taken at the neighbouring Hotel Ski Lodge (3 star) restaurant

Apartments

The layout of the apartments is perfect for families and our types have two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. Each apartment has Wi-Fi at no extra cost. Some apartments also have a fireplace for an extra snug family evening around the fire.

They are all finished to a very high standard with bedrooms for everybody so nobody has to sleep in the lounge area.

In Norse mythology, 'Skadi' is the goddess of winter and she rules over the mountains. The residence takes inspiration of this with a contemporary and mountain-style design and use of wood, stone and tile-stone to create a natural and relaxing atmosphere.

Facilities

Access to the spa 'Les Bains du Montana' is included for all guests with an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a sauna, and steam room. The spa is open in the mornings from 10am to noon and from 3pm to 8pm (with the last hour for adults from 15 years and above only). You can also purchase a wide range of beauty treatments and massages to pamper and rejuvenate your body, including body and facial treatments, exfoliation and reflexology.

There is a ski room with individual ski lockers and boot dryers

Little extras like dressing gowns and slippers for the spa and the little welcome cleaning pack really makes you feel at home. The residence itself is not large and there are 33 apartments in total in three separate buildings, so you do have a feeling of exclusivity.
