Pre-teens

Esprit is proud to offer flexible childcare and exclusive ski lessons for 5-12 year olds for as little or as long as you like. From full days starting at 8.30am and finishing at 6pm to half days and fun evening care, you can mix and match to your family’s needs.

In the mornings, our staff take children to their Sprite ski lessons, run by our trusted partner ski schools. The classes are exclusive to Esprit and grouped by ability as well as age, from Sprite Beginners to Improvers, Intermediates and Advanced for any future downhill champions! An Esprit Snow Ranger stays with the beginner classes for extra support.

After lunch, there is a choice of more skiing or afternoon Snow Club which includes a number of indoor and outdoor activities all supervised by our experienced childcare team.

Esprit Snow Club is for six days a week for children aged 5-8 years. Run by our enthusiastic Snow Rangers, children have endless fun indoors and outdoors. From arts and crafts, treasure hunts and story telling to Esprit action-songs and games to building igloos, bum boarding and hunting the ranger, they will have the time of their lives.

For those keen intermediate and advanced skiers, from 6 years upwards, there’s a choice to have an extra 2 hours of afternoon skiing in some resorts offering Sprite Xtra classes. Our French resorts also offer Mountain Academy in the afternoons for children aged 6 and above.

High tea, if part of your accommodation offering, is a 2-course meal for children served by our childcare staff between 5pm and 6pm. While you eat your dinner, your kids can join the Cocoa Club, where our staff supervise them for a chilled evening of activities such as watching a film, reading their books or playing on their tablets. This runs for 6 evenings a week from 7.30-10pm in our hotels de Champoluc and Ducs de Savoie.
