The modern Chalet Corniche was built specifically for Esprit and has a loyal following of returning guests each year. The bedrooms have all been refurbished with new mattresses, headboards, lighting and rugs to create a really warm and comfortable place to rest and stay.

Location

It couldn't be more ideal being literally just opposite the Marmottons children's ski slope and a mere minute to the Rosset chairlift, plus a further 30 seconds to the main Tovière gondola. All you need to do is cross the road and put on your skis and glide to the lifts.

It's also just a 5 minutes' walk to the resort Aqua Centre and swimming pool, which you have free entry too with a valid lift pass.

Childcare and proximity to meeting places

Children booking into Esprit children's ski lessons are collected by our rangers and taken to the meeting point, just by the Tovère lift. Sprite Beginners and Spritelets stay on the stay on the Marmottons Children's Ski Slope whilst other classes are signed over to the ski instructor to ski further afield. Superviced Lunch is taken in the Evolution 2 building, just by the beginners' slope and this is also the base for Snow Club. 

Infant Care in based in the chalet and the babies will be taken out on outings with the Esprit nannies. 

Board basis

Chalet catering includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals on six nights a week. On the seventh night (usually midweek), just a continental breakfast is provided and you are free to explore Tignes for a restaurant of your choice. High tea is provided for children under 11 years old which is a two-course menu. Adult evening meals include a starter, main course and dessert all served with local wine and followed by a local cheeseboard, and tea or coffee.

Rooms

The spacious bedrooms and two suites are all fitted with quality furnishings and are comfortable and well planned. Two of the bedrooms can take an extra bed for a child and all rooms can take a cot. The suites have two separate sleeping areas.

Facilities

The communal areas are contemporary in style with a large central fireplace dividing the living and dining areas. The wellness area - for parents and children over 13 - is a haven in which to unwind at the end of the day with a Sauna, steam room, hot tub and relaxation area. There's also a lift to all floors and a ski room with heated boot warmers.

Chalet Cuisine

Includes a skiers' buffet breakfast to start your day, afternoon tea to welcome you 'home', and evening meals with a starter, main, dessert and cheese plus a choice of local wines and then coffee to complete the evening.

We set high standards for our cuisine, and train our staff extensively before the season starts, to ensure that our Esprit guests will enjoy every meal with us.

Our chalets are going greener, so our mountains don't.

This season (2022/23) our menu is changing for the better. In all of our chalets we're giving you more choice, both with meat-free and meat options on offer throughout your stay. This is driven as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint.
