Our partnership with Snow Camp

Esprit are committed to increasing exposure and opening up career opportunities for all young people in the UK. No matter your background, gender or ethnicity, we want everyone to be able to experience the joy of skiing and snowboarding.

Snow Camp is a life changing snow-sports programme for young people across the UK who are all in need of support. Some suffer from poor self-esteem, mental health struggles or are having a difficult time at home and/or at school.  Snow Camp is a lifeline providing vital opportunities and support to those who need it the most.

What is Snow Camp:

✔️ Working at indoor snow domes, young people learn how to ski or snowboard alongside life skills training, qualifications and mental health support.

✔️ As part of their training young people also experience the mountains for the very first time on an annual residential.

✔️ After a year of hard work they spend a week in the mountains shadowing instructors and gaining valuable snow experience.

Working with Snow Camp:

We are working with Snow Camp, to help break down barriers and broaden the horizons for young people in the UK. We are committed to:

✔️ 12 month internship in the Esprit and sister ski brand, Inghams, UK head office to give one of the 2023/24 Snow Camp apprentices first-hand experience of working in the industry.

✔️ Esprit & sister ski brand, Inghams, will host another group of young apprentices in the Alps in winter 2024 to give them exposure to life in the mountains.

Snow Camp on the slopes

In January 2023, we took a group of young Snow Camp apprentices out to the mountains to give them a taste of life working as a seasonaire. Keep an eye out on this page for our Snow Camp video.
